Why rinse aid is the key to sparkling dishes

In 1886 in Illinois, America, one woman grew so tired of washing dishes by hand that she designed the world’s first mechanical diswasher. That woman’s name was Josephine Garis Cochrane and thanks to her, many of us are able to enjoy sparkling dishes and spotless cutlery without getting our hands wet.

If your dishes have lost their shine or if you are noticing spots on your glasses, your dishwasher might be in need of some rinse aid.

What does rinse aid do?

Due to the high mineral content in our water, the water from our taps are considered to be ‘hard’. Hard water causes resistance on the surface of plates and glasses during a dishwasher’s drying process. Rinse aid however, helps to alleviate this and encourages water to stream down plates and glasses instead of forming droplets.

Cleaning Warehouse Auto Rinse Aid

Our 500 ml size Auto Rinse Aid is a concentrated formula suitable for both household and industrial automatic dishwashing machines.

It features:

  • No harmful deposits
  • Rapid sheet rinsing
  • Acidic PH to neutralise alkalinity from wash agents
  • Low residual odour

We recommend using the following products from Cleaning Warehouse with our Auto Rinse Aid:

  1. Auto Dish Power
  2. Dishwasher salts
  3. Closemeyer dishwasher cleaner

Useful tip: If you are washing your dishes by hand and leaving them to dry naturally, do this: Add a few drops of Cleaning Warehouse’s Auto Rinse Aid in your rinsing water for exactly the same shiny dishes after every wash.
