JIM™ Auto Dish Powder: Sparkling clean, eco-friendly dishes every time
7 August 2024The kitchen is the heart of the home. The place the entire household is drawn to for all things yummy, or simply to have a chat. As the room in the house that gets the most traffic it could naturally become untidy the quickest and require more TLC.
If you were wondering whether you are under washing or over washing some of the items in kitchen, this schedule is for you…
1. Countertops: Daily & Weekly
Wipe down your countertops daily with a gentle cleaner like JIM™Dish Wash. For a deeper clean, use JIM™ Kitchen Cleaner once a week to remove any built-up grime or bacteria weekly.
2. Sink: Daily & Weekly
Rinse and wipe your sink after each use. Sinks are breeding grounds for bacteria due to the constant moisture and food particles. Once a week, give it a thorough scrub with a disinfectant cleaner like JIM™ Thick Bleach.
3. Refrigerator: Weekly & Monthly
Wipe spills immediately. Do a weekly check for expired foods and do a deep clean monthly with JIM™Kitchen Cleaner. Remember to wash shelves, drawers and door seals. Regular cleaning prevents odours, mold growth, and helps maintain food safety.
4. Microwave: Weekly
Clean spills as they happen. Wipe the interior and exterior with JIM™Kitchen Cleaner once per week. This prevents food splatters from hardening and eliminates potential bacterial growth.
5. Oven: Monthly to Quarterly
If you cook regularly, clean monthly. Alternatively, every three months is sufficient. Don’t forget the stovetop – clean with JIM™Kitchen Cleaner after every use.
6. Dishwasher: Monthly
Run an empty cycle with JIM™ Auto Dish Powder monthly to remove buildup and odours.
7. Kettle: Monthly
Descale your kettle monthly to remove mineral buildup and ensure great-tasting beverages.
8. Cutting Boards: After Each Use
Wash wooden boards with hot, soapy water after each use to prevent cross-contamination between different foods. Sanitise plastic boards in the dishwasher.
9. Kitchen Sponges: Weekly
Replace your kitchen sponge weekly or sanitise it by running it through the dishwasher. Sponges are bacteria-central, so frequent replacement or sanitisation is essential for kitchen hygiene.
10. Kitchen Towels: Every Few Days
Replace or wash kitchen towels every three to four days, or more often if it is visibly dirty. Frequent washing prevents the spread of bacteria that can accumulate on damp towels.
About JIM™ Kitchen Cleaner:
Use this strong sanitising grease cutter to clean and santise all hard surfaces and worktops in the kitchen.
Method:
Spray on relevant areas and simply wipe off. There is no need to rinse.
For best results, allow for one minute contact time for cleaning and five minutes for sanitising before wiping the product off with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
