Easy Steps To Clean Carpets

Cleaning carpets are easy when following these easy preparation steps.

1. Use dilution as recommended on product label.
2. For extreme dirt, on carpets use product undiluted and wash twice if necessary.
3. Always follow machine instructions to determine which Shampoo cleaner to use. Note: High Foam (Carpet Glo)/ Low Foam (Upholstery Cleaner).
4. Ensure that your carpet cleaning machine is suitable for high foam Carpet Glo shampoo. If not, always use low foam Upholstery Cleaner.

CARPET CLEANING: MACHINE WASH:

1. Pre-treat spots with Spray & Vac or undiluted Carpet Glo or Upholstery Cleaner depending on which product is suitable. See point 5 above.
2. Follow the 4 Easy Preparation steps.
3. Wash carpet with machine.
4. Dry carpet with wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
5. Keep traffic off the carpet until completely dry.

CARPET CLEANING: AUTO SCRUBBER:

1.Pre-treat spots with undiluted Carpet Glo

For soft carpets with long hair

1. Use a white buffing pad on the auto scrubber.
2. Spray 1:30 dilution onto carpet on small area ± 2-3m² at a time. Do not over wet.
3. Use industrial carpet vacuum washer to dry the carpet.
4. Keep traffic off carpet until completely dry.

For hard short hair carpets:

1. Use a soft rotary brush on the auto scrubber.
2. Spray 1:30 dilution onto carpet on small area ± 2-3m² at a time. Do not over wet.
3. Use industrial carpet vacuum washer to dry the carpet.
4. Keep traffic off the carpet until completely dry.

4 EASY PREPARATION STEPS:

1. Test for colour fastness, especially loose carpets or upholstery with lots of colour motives 24 hours in advance before starting with carpet washing process.
2. Vacuum carpet or upholstery thoroughly to remove all loose dirt.
3. Pre-treat selected heavy soiled stains with undiluted solution of Upholstery Cleaner or Carpet Glo using a spray bottle. Allow few minutes for the product to penetrate stains.
4. Scrub stains using a soft brush or an upside down glass to get rid of the stains before washing the carpet or upholstery and allowing to dry.
